Even though the press might try and tell you otherwise, Twitter is still an incredibly popular platform. It’s also a fantastic platform to help you grow your business.

So with that in mind, I want to share three easy steps to follow on Twitter to grow your business.
STEP 1: Use The Twitter Search Function
Navigate over to the search tab on the Twitter mobile app or go to Twitter.com/explore. This is where you will begin.
STEP 2: Search Phrases That Matter To Yourself Or Your Brand
For example, if you own an urban farm, you could look up “Organic Vegetables” to see what people are talking about:
The posts at the top of the results are the ones that are getting the most awareness. If you can’t find recent posts, you may consider hitting the tab that says “Latest” to see a full list of the latest tweets on the topic.
STEP 3: Add A Comment To The Post, BUT Make Sure It’s Thoughtful
Once you find a post where you have a strong point of view, make a thoughtful comment. For example, if you’re in the fitness space and somebody posted a short video of an exercise, if you notice they are doing it incorrectly you could comment on it and give them advice on how to do it correctly to maximize the gains that exercise will offer.
Start with responding to posts that already have awareness. Posts with a lot of engagement will make it more likely for your post to get engagement. That’ll bring more awareness to you and what you do.
